It’s been nine years since my son Isaiah was diagnosed with gluten intolerance. If you or your family couldn’t eat gluten back then, you remember our food options were slim to none. Not anymore!
In honor of Celiac Awareness Month and with gluten intolerance increasingly on the rise, I’ve teamed up with Snyder’s of Hanover and Lance, who have partnered with the Celiac Disease Foundation this month to improve the quality of life for people living with gluten-related disorders through education and donations.
These days with the variety of certified gluten-free flours and ready-to-eat foods in our supermarkets, eating gluten-free is easier—and tastier—than ever! If you’re a baker, start with recipes and a foolproof multi-purpose flour you can trust. Next time you’re shopping at your local supermarket, pick up some tasty on-the-go snacks, like Snyder’s of Hanovercrunchy, baked gluten-free pretzels or Lance’s bite-sizedsandwich crackers and cookies filled with real peanut butter orcheddar cheese—my kids couldn’t stop popping these in their mouth!
