Love this book and all recipes have come out perfect so far. This is the best cookbook for people who have decided to go gluten free and need recipes that everyone would eat. Love the pictures and easy step by step instructions.

I bought this when I first needed to go gluten free. This book has taught me how to cook really delicious gluten free foods. I bring them to gatherings and people rave about anything I make from this book and ask for the recipe. The mocha chocolate cake is amazing. It’s also great to have recipes that are dairy free and yet still delicious. I make her flour mixture every 3 to 6 weeks depending upon how much I am baking/cooking. I make the pizza dough weekly. The cookies and brownies often and of course the cakes for birthdays. Everything I’ve tried has been wonderful. If you have to be gluten free/dairy free this is the best book to buy. I have bought a few others since but nothing compares to Silvana Nardone’s recipes.

What a wonderful book! I was diagnosed with Celiac’s disease six years ago at the ate of forty-two. Needless to say, I have tried flour mixture after flour mixture and recipe after recipe to try to duplicate foods that I used to eat before I became sick. When I saw Silvana’s piece in the recent Taste of Home 2011 cookbook, I was intrigued. I went on Amazon and was able to view several of her recipes and her flour mix. I had as many as eight different flours in my cupboard that I have used in various combinations. Silvana’s flour recipe was so simple (only two types of flour and xanthan gun) and it seemed almost too good to be true. Then I tried it — I cannot tell you how pleased I am to finally be able to have cornbread, pizza and pancakes that taste like they should–real and wonderful!! This is one of the smartest and best purchases I have made. I would encourage anyone who is frustrated with all the blinding information that you are overwhelmed by to check this book out. To Silvana and her lovely family, thank you for taking what could have been lemons and making lemonade that has truly been a blessing for me.
